These real fruit snacks for kids are a naturally sweet, healthy alternative to sugary treats. Easy to make at home, they’re loaded with vitamins, fiber, and fruity fun—perfect for lunchboxes or after-school munchies.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh fruit (strawberries, mangoes, or apples)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon honey (for added sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 140°F (60°C) or the lowest setting available.
  2. Blend the fruit with lemon juice (and honey if using) until smooth.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Pour the puree onto the sheet and spread it evenly into a thin layer.
  5. Bake for 4–6 hours until the surface is no longer sticky and peels easily.
  6. Let cool completely, then cut into strips and roll them up with parchment paper.

Notes

You can mix different fruits for new flavors. Store the fruit leather rolls in an airtight container for up to 1 week. This snack is great for picky eaters and can be cut into fun shapes too!
