Naturally sweet, antioxidant-rich, and irresistibly chewy—fruit snacks cherry are the healthy treat that kids and adults can both enjoy guilt-free.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries (pitted)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin or agar-agar (vegan option)

Instructions

  1. Blend cherries into a smooth puree using a blender or food processor.
  2. Pour the cherry puree into a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Add sweetener and lemon juice; stir gently until heated and slightly thickened.
  4. Slowly sprinkle in the gelatin or agar while stirring to avoid clumps.
  5. Continue stirring until the mixture is fully dissolved and smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a lined baking tray.
  7. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours or until the snacks are fully set.
  8. Pop out from molds or cut into squares if using a tray.
  9. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  10. Enjoy as a lunchbox snack, post-workout bite, or sweet treat anytime!

Notes

Use fun-shaped molds for kids, or blend in protein powder for an energy-boosting version. For a tangy twist, add a pinch of sea salt or a splash of apple cider vinegar.
